Just installed again aoc in long time.

In the past I had conflicting hotkeys. Basically:
a) F = Build Farm
b) F = Go to TC

"F" doing both things!

I tried do it by hosting new room >> Single Player >> Hotkeys
but it failed "F" can't be used for BOTH a) and b)....

I used in the past [You must login to view link] for this purpose.
but when I installed today Aoc there was no .hki file.

So I googled this is what I found
"It only recognizes the .hki file and when you're on Voobly, the server only uses the .nfz file.
Both are hotkeys files.

Or you find in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II\player.nfz (if you're playing in Vooobly with the original AOC)

Kind of complicated but what I mean is that I guess I need a editor for the .nfz file since Voobly only uses this kind of hotkey file.

So what do I do to resolve this?

What you are asking for is not possible simply because the classic version of aoc does not support it. This feature is only supported by the HD version which unfortunately won't work on Voobly.

Previously I did not have HD version but I could do it with [You must login to view link] which generated player0.hki file. I just replaced it with old hotkey file. (P.S. Last date I played with this conflicting hotkey functionality was May 29)

And voila I could use conflicting hotkeys.

Are you really tellings me? Voobly new hotkey file take this great functionality away?? I don't believe it.
I also don't believe that a bit more than month later this is not possible, that Voobly had major changes in hotkey scene.

I will repeat and summarise what I mentioned above. Aokhotkeys was designed for the HD version which like I said above supports hotkey sharing (using the same hotkey for multiple commands). Unfortunately this feature is not supported by the 'classic version' which is the only one playable on Voobly.

In my last attempt to solve this I went to technical support (again) lobby and with Drushy we solved this.


Solution:
1. Host a room in Voobly
2. Launch in Single player
3. Start a game vs computer
4. Then in game options > hotkeys change what u need

Edit: there is a little thing to know for this to work.

I wanted F do a) build Farm + b) go to TC
I needed to assign "go to TC" both instances F, so when I assigned "build farm" only 1 instance of 'F = go to TC' got cancelled.
