i believe the game is greatly changed if a player can earn points and continue moving through the rounds just by camping while everyone else wipes each other out and just becomes second to die.
instead, make it so first person to win 3 games wins first place. the next person to get 3 wins gets second, and so on...
rcb has already had tons of 1v1/2v2 tournaments.. I mean if you're gonna try for another doing something new (ffa or 3v3) is probably the better option... or just scratch rcb for the time being and choose a different map.
RCB has a pretty big community, I think you can get a good turnout if advertised well though for whichever path you choose to go.

what tons? i think only 2 rcb 1v1 tourneys and same for 2v2, not like smosh 5# or others, ffa better option but if ddnt get it,1v1 /2v2 ,no way for 3v3,4v4
RCB has had about 4 maybe 5 tournaments for the map alone as well as a poorly attempted FFA rcb one where barely anyone showed up.
several 1v1 and several 2v2.
If you advertise it well enough with RCB's community you can likely field atleast a team from most of the top clans + if the casual ffa type players want to sign up with 2 friends you can also get a good quality tournament in a format that has never been done before.
Only reason I see you so against the 3v3 idea is because you already know most of the top players wouldnt be teaming you.
Nhoobish has asked for ideas, the following are ideas that I think are good: Points for winning
Winning should be rewarded, as this is never an easy task
Points for dying later than others
Surviving should be rewarded. This may need to be worth not alot to avoid issues discussed by others.
Points for spending kings
Whether you agree with it or not, a lot of work has happened in the past to "balance" the value of kings. Earning kings relies on surviving a long time, earning lots of kills, and ensuring that raze 20 buildings as early as possible. They are an ideal unit to be "counted" for scoring points for the tournament, and a mechanism for this could be set up using triggers or the mod.
Fair scoring
No game should be worth more than any other, an option here would be to scale the points earned in each game to 100%, where the points that any player earns is a percentage of the total points earned by all players in that game.
the value of points
The value of points for winning, points for surviving and points for spending kings can be voted on by the RCB community who register to play in this tournament and not by loudmouthed soapbox ****wits from the forum community who have no intention of registering or playing.
I welcome feedback on the above points and can happily explain further or provide hypothetical examples if need be.

come on u shouldnt say it so casually on his face since all of us knows it pretty well
u telling about top plyrs but i think not even a single plyr will team with him regardless of constraint
In my Oponion just disable chat in RCB FFA tourney, then it will b a decent tourney.
i knw still ppl will go team for top kill/rate. but by disabling chat they cant say something like **i go left , u go right**
**open him, i sent beli,theo,willi**
or **get mid and i help u** etc and blah blah
One thing more, we Learn from out mistakes doesnt matter if this tourney doesnt go well in future we can improve our mistakes and arrange more decent tourney
If I hold it as an ongoing League of 2 months I will call it Masters of, if it will be in a different format then not.

Barry felt touched, because he held Masters of Bloods and Masters of Alternative, which had a pool of maps that you had to compete in.
Could be interesting, since FFA way too difficult to host for various reasons.

also 3v3/4v4 sure could be good BUT barely any turnout maybe 3-4 teams 11
maybe we could do 1v1 or 2v2 but master of RCB in general, so like diff maps..
could use the rcb gold map, auto and 10th or something alike

Nhoobish can do his FFA thing. I'll do 10th legion 3v3 some time after.
