I was looking for a way to install mods on Voobly on Linux (with wine) since they can't be installed from the web browser. All threads that I've found in this forum were either unsuccessful attempts or overly complicated things like downloading an old version of IE with winetricks and doing some kludges to make it work. Well turns out to install a mod is quite simple. Open the link to the mod with any web browser, copy the "voobly://" url and just call the voobly client from the command line passing that url as an argument. E.g.:

~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Voobly wine voobly.exe "voobly://client.voobly.com:17600/?service=Package&uid=0&session=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&arg=voobly.com**gamemods*13*Spectator[space]Dashboard"

And the mod is installed! Since I couldn't find anyone mentioning this I thought I'd share. Sorry if this is a duplicate.
