Cant remember if it was asked or put somewhere in the rules so ill just clarify it here.
For random decider rounds (2v2 or TG set only)
If the civ spots end up being bad for one team is the option to go back with all players keeping the civ they had and spots being re arranged available?
Example 2v2 Gwarz - Team 1 Mongs p1 celts p3. Team 2 Celts p2 Mongs p4. There is a clear advantage for team 1 in this matchup based on the spot arrangement of where the civs are.
Well i havent got anything in the rules but i do think its only fair that for random deciders in the case of bad spots for civs then players can go back fix the spots and keep the civs they had. Though it would need to be agreed with the other team before the decider is launched that if civ spots is bad then you go back and fix them
I dont think it needs to be a thing where both teams need to agree before and if the other team for w/e reason doesnt agree then you are forced to play on.
But theres been a similar issue in a past tournament with that and I just wanted to make sure its clarified before all the major games.. Think it should be added in the rules to be clear that if spots arent ideal you just keep the civ you had and re arrange the spots accordingly so things are fair for all.
Lets see what others think. I would be pretty sure everyone would agree to go back and fix spots for civs before a game. I certainly wouldnt want to see a decider come down to spots for civs but lets see what others think
which is why im suggesting you as the tournament admin should just add in the rules to make sure its a 100% rule and there can be no arguments by anyone.
Who decides civ positions for the flank players in Gwarz if they're different to opposing enemy before restarting the match? Whatever you do there will be flaws when the two parties can't be decent human beings to one another.

What if we done it so the civ spots are mirrored to that of p1 team if restarted?

I mean in the example I gave with celts mong.. I think its pretty normal people want mongol on p1 p2 in that civ matchup... if one team prefers the mongol on the p3 p4 spot.. its their own choice after that but I think the important civ being closer is the usual answer people will give.

Will laugh much if this actually becomes a problem.
