Each clan will play another clan from the list drawn randomly. The winner of that match up will qualify to join the main group stages with the 4 seeds:
The loser of their match up will enter into a bronze league in a group of 4 with the other 3 who didnt make it into the main groups. Winning the bronze league will get you a bronze league winners medal along with automatic qualification for the main group stages for the 2017 Tourney
Maps available for selection along with the rules and set up for your qualifying match will be those used for TIW 2015 http://vooblycommittee.voobly.com/forum/thread/217507
The only difference is the 1v1 and 2v2 sections will be done on a best of 3 basis. So you will have one home pick each and a random decider to decide who gets the point.
You will be required to schedule your games over a 2 week window, failure to do so will mean you will have to complete your games at 6pm on Sunday the 17th of January . We do prefer you come to an arrangement when will suit for your games.
Regarding which maps you pick you will be required to post your map picks at least 1 hour before your scheduled games. This can be done on the forum as each will have their own section to arrange scheduled games or you can private message one of those running the tourney who will post them both together. Once this is done you can decide whether you wish to veto any maps and perhaps make changes if your map picks have been vetoed.
IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE YOU MAKE YOURSELF FAMILAR WITH THE RULES AND VETO'S

Just to confirm dmz are out of the tournament they dont have enough active players to play so some of them are joining ow to play instead. In that case dv8 will auto qualify to the main group stage
Map picks can be done now and posted now, yes alternatively you can post them an hour before the games or even send them to me. If another one of the vcom tournament host mods or admins is online to assist you if im not there you can also send the maps to them and they will post them. They will also be helping run the tournament and assist you with map picks, vetos and questions. One of us will try and be there as the option if you want to send them to us to post them together but it is preferable if you post them yourselves.
It is important to note that it isnt just me who will be assisting with map picks as I wont be there for every match so look for the admin there to assist. One hour before the games is the deadline for map picks to be given or posted though we would prefer and this applies to everyone if you can sort map picks, vetos etc out in advance of the day games are played.
