Been waiting on till tomorrow on more feedback for final confirmation on whether to have it on the 21st or 22nd before advertising. Opinion as been quite divided but im leaning towards the 22nd as i prefer hosting on a sunday but i am still open to doing it on a saturday.
Regarding the ladder we have been discussing behind the scenes about it
Its been known about now for 2 weeks as it stands and 2 weeks from now will be plenty of time to get the word out and advertise. I wouldve liked the euro ladder up and running now. I know i wont be doing any tourneys over christmas no idea what other people have planned
We have never had a ladder before for a euro tourney and they where all successful but yes i wouldve liked a ladder up and running already to help promote it. With that said there is no point going ahead with the tourney now if theres no support for it at this time from certain quarters within the euro community. So consider it postponed until such time that a ladder is done.
I do know some where looking forward to it but really a euro tourney needs to be big like all the pervious ones, theres no point doing it if we miss out on lots of the community. I dont want to force it through and waste my time on doing a euro tourney that doesnt do it credit. I will say this though im not gonna be hosting it over christmas so if someone else wants too happy days. Else you will all have to wait till new year
I do not really understand why you all are at Frankie's neck, how about you run your own tournaments or become Voobly Staff and be in charge of ladders, instead of complaining how everything is going to fail hard.

Have been there and done that. Fails hard because people in charge make impulse decisions which work a small fraction of the time. Your feedback goes ignored, and then they wonder why the good people quit or no longer give feedback.
Here's hoping Dave can change all that negativity.

1. You havn't left very much time to advertise it
2. It's not the greatest time for tournemanet numbers.
Running a ladder until christmas time for maximum players seems the best idea IMO.
