When trying to join a game lobby, I get the following:

Non-DirectPlay Spiel-Pfad ist 'c:\program files (x86)\steam\SteamApps\common\Age2HD'
Your version of the game is not compatible with Voobly.

You must install the most recent 1.0c compatibility pack for Age2HD

I have both Age2HD and AoC installed. The AoC game executable is located at

Code:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II\age2_x1\age2x1.exe

How can I tell Voobly to use AoC instead of Age2HD?

When I click on game diagnostic it just shows the same error in the OP.

It doesn't allow me to change the direct path to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Age2HD

It just says, "Non-DirectPlay game path is 'c:\program files (x86)\microsoft games for windows - live\age2hd'
Your version of the game is not compatible with Voobly."

How do I change the pathway?

Never mind, I just copy and pasted my aoe2hd folder from the steam pathway to the window's live games pathway after deleting the aoe2 folder from window's live - and it worked.

The resolution is super messed up, but it is playable. Yay!
