I'm not playing out of protest against the ongoing hypocricy of picking europe in competitive CS settings, cause of a map that's 97% rm based is hughely overrepresented in a CS clan tourney, and cause if clans start this tourney like this (picking lame maps to get free wins), i can only imagine the drama that's about to come.
I don't have anything against europe, i don't even care people play it in cs lobby. It should stay outside of 'competitive CS' though. And if it was just like 1 map out of 15 in a random league system it would still be overrepresented imo but at least clans couldn't use it as home map in the 4 v 4 pack AND in the 2 v 2 pack, and still have it in the random pack.
Also i don't have anything against 2 clans playing it vs eachother in a competitive setting, if both agree. If you try to force it on a non-rm playing clan, trying to claim you're better at CS because of it, i find it pure hypocricy.
If you wanna challenge us to a 4 v 4 europe to prove you're a better RM clan then us, i can completely understand you though.

@ Andreas - All people involved already know you are against Euro being in... if you play this tournament it doesnt mean you are supporting it.. but it means you're not a kid who will throw a tantrum if he doesnt get what he wants and stop a good thing from happening. Theres clans that are so against so many diff variations of CB being in... 7th chose those maps as trying to get 'cheap wins' as well as your other weak picks you made (path blood and herofest.. come on.)

I'll lay the facts out for you straight.
- You wont have to play Europe because you can use 2 of your vetos to remove it regardless (dont even have to veto it against every team.. realistically just 2)
- I already know how 7th think and I doubt theres really any other maps you guys see as being veto worthy... you probably think you have this tournament already won... so please just prove it and end this talking.
- Europes been in CS about twice as long as you've been playing AoC. You have a europers in your clan who would not say that Europe is RM (Fran) and you have a clan member whos been in Europe clans on the zone during its prime days (Efkan) we can argue day and night about if its RM or if its CS.. simple fact is that its ONE map in a list of many.. that you dont even have to play vs anyone (if it comes up in the rdm pack you just restart the game as you guys already veto'd it)
- The only drama this tournament has seen from 7ths actions... most people are quite excited to finally have a CS tournament and actually have more than 1-2 active blood/CB clans so we could have a tournament like this.

If you guys back out of this tournament over something you dont even have to play... I lost all respect (the very little I had to begin with) for your clan since I thought you were about competition... so will every other clan because you're ruining a good thing over something so ****ic.

Also our clans wont be waring (7ths existance is practically made on that war) and I hope that barry and all VCOM will back me on this and simply ban every single one of you from future cs tournaments because you guys just cause drama and act like a bunch of pussies when it really matters.

Ok guys lets all relax ive spoke with some and i believe that some important changes have been missed that should get things moving along:

You cant pick the same map in the 1v1/2v2 sections if you have picked it in the 3v3/4v4 section unless someone uses a veto. So for example you wont be able to pick cba in every round or euro in 2 rounds unless some uses a veto. So lets say Eot pick euro for 3v3/4v4 then they cant pick it in the 2v2 round unless of course someone uses a veto which means they can they pick it for 2v2. If a clan doesnt want euro in 2v2 as well then they can veto it. That will mean they have used 2 vetos but they are assured they wont be playing the map at all even if it comes up in the random rounds plus of course they will still have a veto left

Also you must post your map selection before any games are played so people have a chance to practice or use a veto

CBA/CBA Hero
Naturally we want to keep the tourney has diverse as possible and due to the fact both maps are available for selection in all the rounds. So to avoid someone picking both these maps in their home picks you can only select one or the other. If a clan uses a veto on one of the maps you can select the other.

Vetos
Each clan will have a total of 3 vetos to be used for each clan v clan battle. So for example a veto can be used for a map selection or if they dont like the map that comes up in the random rounds. You will only have 3 vetos in total for each clan v clan match up. If you use a veto on a teams home map and the map comes up in the random pack round then that same veto will still stand and the game needs to be restarted, you dont need another veto. If you are using a veto in a random game simply call veto within the first 2 minutes of the game and the other person/team will resign or else you resign. Make sure to post evidence of a veto used.

Make sure to make it clear if you are using a veto when a clan gives its map selection on the forum. Also make sure you have a veto to use if you call veto in a random round or else you may be forced to play that map or else you will auto be given a loss. Most likely a loss. It is the duty of both clans to make it clear to each other what vetos are left for each other so lets not have any uncomfortable instances where vetos are called when there is none.

Will there be any requirements for the players in the clans for 2v2?

ie. can the same 2 people play 2v2s etc etc?

Also for your picks, ie. in 1v1 if i pick cba, am i able to pick the civ? if i want cba celt or does it have to be mirror?
