Whatever, who cares about fair games, the teaming seems like a bigger issue and kind of compensates the civadvantage. Only teutons still suck really hard (give them bracers in fair mod pls, you can't do anything with them). Just set a date and see who shows up. At worst have some fun games.

just do 1v1 2v2 3v3 etc

1v1, 2v2, 3v3 doesn't attract players to play them. If you want a tournament with just 6 players then go ahead. There's like 95% of FFA RCB games the rest are 1v1s and there are no 2v2, 3v3s. Not including the Random Ladder RCB matches, because those come up at random and players just don't mind playing them, but probably would play something else instead.
