Should open the challenge to be in the lists?
People being clueless naming players that haven't touch the game in years.

Well if you were to actually get people motivated to play, your 5 would be

Alex
2 random beaners using macros

Vash/Vezir/Damian/Efkan/Alex/Vicer/Myself are really the only players who actively play 1v1s vs other good players nowadays

All of those guys are actually fun to play against since they don't really cry when they lose or post 1000x on the forums when they win a game

I guess you could try to get players who want to be recognized in certain maps (I'd say Smosh, Germs and Gwarz would be easy targets) to play a bo5 for said map on Match Stats ladder. Easy way to track games, there's no points on the line to scare people off and gives people match links if they want to learn a certain players style and traits (as blood games are typically boring to watch for sole entertainment).

Post the set with links here. Those showing unsportsmanlike conduct simply get told to **** off. Guess it's also a chance for newer players to practice against top players in an official setting.

With all that being said, You'd have to brain storm ways to keep people playing the sets.

Top 1v1 smosh is pretty much whoever is half decent at it and is playing it a lot..

True, but i think it's a little moreso for smosh, it's difficult to be good at smosh if you aren't active and to win through just experience unless you are playing a significantly inferior player.

Yeah the hope is that once we get an initial list up especially for maps like smosh we can edit it as in when new players come on the scene and beat those on the lists and show proof they deserve to be on there. So that we will always have something kinda accurate to that given time (i appreciate lists are never totally accurate).

While we are waiting for an initial tourney would anyone have an opinion in order of who would be the current top 5. Theres no right or wrong answer and of course those who want to be recognised who dont make the initial list can play someone on it and show proof of them beating that person by posting the match links in the reporting section and we will fix the list accordingly.

Honestly frankie, after seeing how these worked in aok, even when it was somewhat active, i think this will be a disaster in aoc.

Having said that, good luck, i hope they work out, top lists were always fun when they could be approached maturely etc
