Lets start the tourney at like 6-7 pm (12:30-1:30 pm GMT), and signups 1 hour before this.
If you guys can give confirmation, I'll try to get a streamer as well atleast for some games..and I have some awesome rules planned for the finals..
But barry i thought we will do it like sy nations cup . We can make 4 group having 4-6 teams of different nations in each group. Every group plays point league in between their group. And the top 4 of each goes to semifinals.
match example: INDIA B vs GERMANY A
If you guys want to do it this week, tell me now! If not I will run another GMT on Saturday.
You can do it on another weekend. If you guys aren't sure by tomorrow I will organise a gmt time zone event.

Format:
Round 1=BO1Round 2 and all other consecutive rounds till final=BO3
Final= BO5
Final format
G1: anyone player from t1 picks a civ first followed by a player from t2,then again t1 and so on..But keep in mind all 8 civs are to be different.G2: Reverse civs of G1, that is, t2 plays with civs that t1 had in G1 and vice-versa.
G3: similar to G1 but t2 picks a civ first followed by t1...
G4: reverse civs of G3
G5: full random
In case the tournament goes on for more than 6 hours, the finals can be scheduled to play on a later date as well according to players' convenience.
