Last day I was just thinking about the domination of CBA over all other CS maps. No other map had got 32 players except CBA since long time. So I was planning some ways to increase participation of people in other maps. And finally I came to a good iea which I am posting below as a reasl thread which I will post on my thread approved.

Introduction:

VCOM CS are really grateful to announce a series of events which will be running on voobly for the coming few days. First time in history of CS we present you a pool of blood maps in which various competitor will fight to prove their excellence. The tournament will be conducted in Phases, 5 phases in total. Below are the maps of which the players can choose , which to play:

• [AoC-CS] WoB- Teutonic blood
  
  
• [AoC-CS] WoB- Archers Blood
  
  
• [AoC-CS] WoB-Veteran Blood
  
  
• [AoC-CS] WoB-Smosh
  
  
• [AoC-CS] WoB- Gwarz
  
  
  Any player will only be allowed to participate any one of the above maps.

  Features Of this tournament:
• Tournament Will produce a ranking of live Blood map players.
• A good professional players will be qualified for Super 8 Round robin game of the whole phases.
• No need to panic about timings. It is a self scheduling tournament, You know your opponent ,schedule with him we will just be needing recordings.
• A combination of knockout and league to produce legit results.

  Speed: Fast
  Starting Age: Standard
  Resources: Standard Lock Speed/Teams
  Victory: Standard
  Reveal Map: Explored
  Record Game: Failure to do so will result in disqualification. You will be required to upload records of all games. Games must also be played on the VCOM Tournament Ladder.
  Cheats: DISABLED!
  All tech: DISABLED!
  
  
  According to the number of sign ups in each maps there willl be a knockout round and 2 players from each map will qualify for the super 8 [1-1 from smosh and gwarz] where they will be fighting for the 1st 2nd and 3rd position. The super 8 will play a few round of different mapss and the one getting the most points points after finish will be winner.

• If a player disconnects, the game will be resumed.
• If the game cannot be resumed we will try to view the recorded game. If one team was going to win without any doubt they will be awarded the win. If there was no obvious winner then the game will be replayed with the same civilisations and spots.
• If the same player constantly disconnects, their team will forfeit and the other team will progress to the next round unless a replacement can be found. The replacement cannot have played for another team.

  They need to activate rated VCOM Tournaments, and put here the links of their games.

  Prizes will be given if enough players participate.
  6 months gold and +75 points in CS-Bloods
  6 months silver and +50 points in CS-Bloods
  3 months silver and +25 points in CS-Bloods.
  
  
  Apart from this shields will be put on each players profile to his/her achievement.

Hmm I'm happy you thought to do a blood event. Normally I'd complain about tuetonic but to be honest theres no point pandering to old school blooders these days.

I'm not quite sure what your plan is though. Are you running five seperate tournaments or will they all become one at the second stage?

They all will become one at final round.
The top 2 from each map qualify for super 8 where they will play a league of all four maps and one with highest point win.

I can post it in advance as coming soon in announcement section and we can start sign ups when just master of CBA will be ending or in mid.

Ah, that is a nice format.

Sounds good in principle; however, blood players are quite reluctant to show for these events.

Thats the reason I have added 4-5 maps so that even if less players participate we will have a decent number in total/ And i think we can also bypass 32 with this set. Hopefully.

I like the format of the tournament. Start sign ups im very comfident of participation

sign ups should start after when master of cba will be in progress. But a coming soon thread will be good at present in announcement section.

Add some spacing between the headers, it looks a bit cramped.

@Ben, with tuetonic and archers it has appeal to the new schoolers. With smosh, vets he has the mexican community and with gwarz he has a map thats popular with all kind of blooders. Its a good mix for all sorts of player.

Yeah, it will be interesting to see how it shapes out.

Now I am feeling a bit scary. Anyways I have found that early sign ups are better to do just like we started the RTD sign up 20 days back , I have started sign ups and have planned date between 10 to 15th may.

Before I was feeling scary but as sign ups started I feel that Blood is very active ladder.

Just I will have to add certain rules for camp and other cheap tricks.
