I don't think my skill is 2k, haven't played DM forever. So I would like to be in BO5 any challenger section.

Would it be better if the players could say stuff to promote themsefls as well? since most players in the above list are unknown to myself. (by self promote you could give some statistics, what you like about the game/stuff about the game you like, why people should vote for you and say gibberish stuff like im the rock of rockoden. WITHOUT mentioning anyone else like saying im better than 'x' and you shouldn't say stuff like your the best either, even though one of the best is perfectly acceptable)
^ im thinking alot about game shows and how people with physical skills introduce themselfs. + it would be very fun to read through and it will show commitment to actually play all the games.

Votes shouldn't be in a poll, they should be counted by players stating:

"X player has my vote" to prevent people manipulating e.g. voting for yourself, logging other alias', getting votes from friends on their accounts or just voting based on knowing the player personally who have no interest in the BO5.

DM is small so it only takes a few of these to tip the balance. Only legitimate votes from legitimate DMers should be counted, all others should be disregarded apart from the odd exception who have a genuine and justifiable interest (discretionary).

RMers/CSers who tune in won't know Adam from Adam so doing it this way won't affect viewing pleasure it will only increase it.

btw noting wrong with friends voting for you, seeing there friend in action will get them involved in BO5, its just accounts that will be the problem.

Yeah, friends of DMers should be DMers themselves to vote, is what I mean. Not Joeblogs who plays Starcraft and occasionally logs into Voobly to troll 2 posts and do 10 games of CS, is what I meant more to the point...

DMers know pretty much everyone in the community anyways so if someone casts a vote for a friend then it will just be accepted, move on.

I vote DesolatedPriest just because he has proven skills in 1on1 and is therefore more enjoyable to watch for me.

Rubenstock has my vote because I enjoyed watching his games from the previous GA DM tournament. Sadly he was knocked out due to having a poor map so I look forward to seeing him play competitively again
