Currently being discussed by DM community who feels the currently one has too many players who no longer play and the ratings between the top 20 players and new DM players is too much to overcome with the amount of active players.

Would this be a possibility if we was to come to a consensus? Decay wouldn't really solve it atm as no one plays the ladder. A new, fresh ladder, would have more people playing it in my opinion.

A restoration of the old ratings or a completely new one would both help... the decay is the main issue with the current one.
