Hi everybody. You know, Oasis was a very popular DM map on [You must login to view link] . However, nobody plays it on Voobly. I think it is suitable for both Michi and Ga players. So If there will be a Oasis tourney in order to bring it back to Voobly and encourage people to play it again, would you like to join ?

I would be happy with any kind of tourney. Also I like the idea of bring back Oasis to dm lobby.
I find 2v2 tourney a good idea as well as not many 1v1ers in dm and oasis is better to play in tg than in 1v1 imo

An Oasis 2v2 tournament would be excellent. I don't see why it couldn't be a set civilisations or Mirror civilisations either.

I would just say that picking the correct Oasis map will be important though... Some of the Custom Free Oasis maps around are a bit resource heavy... Too much gold and stone... It can end up with very lengthy games where people tower the entire map... The only way you could compensate that would be to have a no bombard towers rule or something...

Oasis was my starting map! Two hands up for OA powah

Well just to sum it up a bit

Its awesome that we have 40+ votes. And most of them wants an oasis tourney. As many pplvoted for 2v2 it would be great if we could start it with 16 teams for example

Also as map is ready, many players voted maybe it would be great if we can have a date from VCOM when it is possible to organise it. Also some about the preferences and then we could advertise it in other lobbies if they are intrested in it.

I'm up for any - if you need any support making it happen, let me know and I can always assist in organising. Altho I'd love to play in it!
