Since CS lobby is limited to 7 ladders, let's create a separate CS Clan lounge.

Set map list, also exclusive and not large.

Minimum of 3v3.

Add rating decay - or a challenge system.

Perhaps have a map group cycle every 3 months with ladder reset.

Start the ball rolling. Let's get some set ideas on this guys.

• Map pool of 3-5 maps that cycles each set amount of time
• Ladder reset after set amount of time to keep things fresh and exciting
• Encourage games as best as possible. Possibly give a prize to a team that reaches a rating high enough, while adhering to ethics we want to rule on such as playing any clan that challenges yours.
• Involve Rm and Dm in the same lounge with a separate ladder system for each. Perhaps it will breathe life into Dm as Rm/CS clans would try it out.
• -unsure on possibility- Embed a challenge system in the lobby where if you join a game room that another clan is hosting, they can't refuse to play you.

We should think of this as something bigger than the VCOM one I created.

This should be a daily, any clan can play any clan, no set wars or maps.
Make it available to all clans.

Personally I would suggest 2 maps from each ladder, keeping CBA in for every rotating cycle of maps.
We need CBA and possibly Hero too to make sure it's active.

Elitist clans can still challenge each other using the VCOM ladder.

Thoughts?

It would be like any of the other ladders, you can play the games 24/7 instead of in a live-tournament setup.

I'd imagine we'd market the new Lobby by using CBA or CBA Hero as one of the first maps in the map pool to encourage players to trial it out.

We'd need to find ways to keep people interested in using the ladder, forming clans with other people/joining established clans as well as encourage clans to play versus one another regularly. I'd imagine offering a team premium at the end of each ladder season would be a start, but we need to brainstorm for ideas on how to keep the worser clans motivated in order to stick at it.

Only thing that motivate certain amount of clans is points for there overall rate, however there is always clans that seek to proof there clan in a more competitive nature by playing tournaments and leagues.
But these are a rare breed in this day and age, Maybe a new and special clan membership could be used for this, something that will give all the members something special instead of emotions and a inactive lobby.

• Tournament team membership.
• All members will receive silver membership automatically. (same as clan lounge, but then instead of gold they receive silver membership)
• And more... if we can come up with something.

I don't want to involve points to Overall rating. It created big issues with the top 20 players trying to join the highest rated clan at the time, for the selfish motive of increasing their rate opposed to building clan structure and support as an individual.

Giving all the players a silver membership might seem too risky for Torm. I wouldn't know.

What's tournament team membership? Perhaps a nicely decorated Hall of Fame for Teams in Rm/Dm/CS based on this lobby and every season could be a nice tool for advertising the ladder over time, and an incentive for clans to get their name plastered on a quick-link on the Voobly front page. RTS in Rm is up to it's 33rd season, there's no reason why Voobly can't adopt a similar approach.

The silver membership for all members would be part of the team membership but only certain amount of time.

at begin we can give silver team membership (15 days) for all clans joined, 1st map would be CBA (i hate it) but is very popular and setting must be 6-8 players.

Would be awesome if we could set up a VCOM Clan War between the two highest teams at the end of a ladder season. Or have the top 4 play-off. Perhaps this would help prevent any ideas people have to avoid other teams. Winner takes all.

We can add awards to the Team Website like I do for RM clans.
