In light of the recent changes to ladders ive completely re-thought my masters series. I will still do this tournament as a way of trying to promote all the bloods be they new to aoc or old mainstream maps and to try and be fair to everyone in the community by trying to give a bit of everything. I will next do a masters of bloods oldschool/oldskool featuring only the maps in the new oldschool blood ladder. Followed by a master of bloods newschool/newskool featuring only the bloods that arent in the oldskool ladder. Going forward i will run a master of bloods series featuring all the bloods be they new/old/aok/popular etc.. continuing on what ive always done , a master of oldschool/oldskool series and a master of newschool/newskool series.
Naturally we will still be doing lots of other tournaments be they team based, 1v1s etc.. But for now i thought i would share my thinking ahead on the ones i was planning.
just kinda browsed through this.. have to agree with ben.. there was already master of blood series made with maps that the majority of the main blood community (Eot/XceL/ViCiouS) & Friends have been apart of.. you cant completely take out the idea of master of bloods and change up the concept because you feel like it. If you want to host a tournament with Teutonic/Ray blood in it.. should have a seperate name for it.
And I think I post this unbias.. of course you know I dont like teutonic or vince but ray blood was made by one of my clan members and I actually like the idea of the map and dont mind it.. just doesnt belong in the same category as "master of bloods"

Sean its the exact same as every master of bloods so far I used new/old/aok/popular in them all so im not changing anything lol, ive done them all feel free to check what maps i used. So please dont come here saying i cant change something when i clearly know more about my own series lol. My plan was always to mix it up and use different maps as i went along which i will continue to do after this one too.
As ive already said im gonna do 2 other seperate master of bloods series one being oldschool and another being newschool
Anyways will get this tournament posted up over the weekend and put it in announcements

No not really Ben im all about promoting all bloods and using every blood throughout the series.
Thats your opinion sean i guess you must think the same about every other master of bloods then? Theres also no guarantee teut will be used as im moving it into the random draw of maps
why would I think it about the others? teutonic is only even somewhat known now because vince used it to boost his rate over the last few weeks/months.. otherwise no one would even know the map.. it doesnt deserve a spot in an actual tournament.. and imo ray blood could potentially be used I guess.. your tourney so do as you want... just dont have high expectations for a tourney with teutonic as a highlight map.

You're kind enough to help finalize my decision to move away from Voobly and AOC. This with the ****ed and poorly managed Bloods ladder and no sign of change for the future. I would think an event like this would merit some voting of some kind.
It's a ****ing disgrace that AOK maps are inclusions into the latest Blood Masters (should be a CB tournament beforehand too). WE JUST INTRODUCED A NEW BLOOD LADDER WITH 10 EXCLUSIVE BLOOD MAPS OR SO, LET'S NOT BASE A BLOOD MASTERS EVENT ON OUR NEW EXCLUSIVE BLOODS LADDER, BUT INSTEAD THROW IN AN UNDERPLAYED NEW MAP AS THE FEATURE AND THROW IN 6 AOK BLOODS BECAUSE SOMEONE CAN'T ****ING MOVE ON FROM AOK AND IT'S DEMISE, SO THEY BRING THE **** HERE.
Every single blood masters as used aok maps im not gonna change that and im doing a tournament after this one for only oldschool bloods. I do agree we could do with more cb tournaments but i was always doing this one havent done a blood masters since feb 2012. Nothing to stop anyone else hosting a cb tournament and ive gave plenty of notice of this
