Top 32 seeded if you are doing 256 entries. Going to need at least 8 staff members (1 for every 32 players). They seed 32 for 128 player brackets in professional events such as Tennis Grand Slams.

You may need to do the last 3 rounds (Quarters - Semis - Final) on the following weekend with such a large amount of players.

You'll also need to set rules for potential disputes, as dealing with 128 games first-up is a lot of work - though there shouldn't really be much that can go wrong besides drops.

Edit; I think the seeds should be done according to rating (I realise it isn't always reflective of a players current ability) since it's a Voobly Rm Tournament and players play rated on RM - General (sort of advertising the ladder for Voobly and showing the ladder is beneficial for stuff other than a number). Besides, the top 4 (Chris - Daut - Viper - Jordan wouldn't meet until Semi's - if Chris signs up) are far ahead of the rest, including Tim in Arabia if you're concerned about top players being knocked out too earl against other top players).

I'm sure you have much more experience than I do with Rm tournaments, just felt my 2 cents worth mentioning.

It won't be played on a single weekend, it is a 7 weeks event ^^

The current seeds are done mostly according to the ratings, although some tweaks are necessary, for the following reasons:

- Although theviper is currently n°2, he admits himself that arabia is his weakest map, i think that daut jordan and chris are above him.

-Considering how well jordan performed recently vs daut (much better than chris did in his bo21 vs daut), i think jordan is a bit better than chris, but it's a matter of opinion.

-Someone like l_clan_alive sits in with a 2k6 nick without playing at all on it, if he signups, i will rather use the rating on his current active nick, l_clan_nand

-Someone like feage made great performances during the 1x1 arabia games for wcl's 7, so he deserves a little boost.

However, this applies only to the 2k2-2k6 ranged players, all others will be seeded according to their general rating.

I gave a try to the brackets with challong, it seems easy to enter a straight list of 200 players than seedings 32 and then adding randoms, so i will seed everyone from 1500 to 2k6 before doing brackets

About potential disputes, well sofar the dropped games must be restored, except if the dropper was clearly loosing, i wrote a rule about no show too, feel free to add more in this topic if you see anything worth adding
