'Players: R1 - Blue/Red vs Green/Yellow; R2 - Blue/Green vs Red/Yellow; R3 - Blue/Yellow vs Red/Green'
P1/P2 have big advantage over P3/P4. If you want to do it this way give the team with the fastest victory the choice between R2/R3 spots if a tiebreak is needed.

I just threw that up off the top of my head, you change it to whatever fits.
It's faster than Gwarz from experience. I don't think a BO3 is necessary until the final.
Hero control and middle control are huge features of the map, so the games are naturaly a lot faster and positions aren't too strictly important. There's no villagers so no BBTs or rewalling. Same map minus villagers basically.
Its one map so it will be bo3. If we get a massive turnout then obviously that will change.
I'm planning on doing a few different civs.
First round I'll do a weak archer civ just in case people try to full camp... this shouldn't really work but meh I'd like the early games to finish fast.
At the semi stage I'd like to mix things up and do two civs. Any suggestions on this?
Id stay away from saracens... 2 good players in an even match will turn into a hit n run fest
Mongols are fine but kinda similar to Saracens. Mongols would be a good final civ.
Other four civs are fine. I like Aztecs but might want to avoid them also because of no Knights.

Okie dokie. How about we just keep it simple and do same civ in all . I will heed my own advice and keep it simple.
I would recommend having some people test the civs in some friendly games. I might come on tomorrow, want to test some civs Charlie?
This way we can see what's possible, how players can lame and we stamp it out, what civs will stall games. A variation in civs each round promotes more competitive play in such a map as Drow. Mongol play is utterly different from Teutons. And Drow play is way different from Gwarz play.
Can we post it ip pls..
But ofc if anyone else wants to
I'll post it up now though.

I always prefer side v side *1/3 v 2/4* with the option to switch host.
Or give each team the option to select spots excluding 1/2 v 3/4.

If more than 16 teams maybe do bo3 final 2/3 rounds.

Huns
Aztecs
Tuetons/Saracens - Semi?
Franks/Mongols - Final?
Thats depending on numbers.

Ok Aztecs/Sara out.
Goths
Huns
Franks
Tuetons
Mongols
??
Teutons is what I would choose if you were only going to use one civ.
Also fine w/ Mongols or Franks.
