How does Voobly launch MM2 straight into the lobby?

When you start a game of MM2 with Voobly, it dumps you straight into the lobby in stead of at the main menu (well, at least it does if you're lucky). Does anyone know, or can any developers tell me, how this is done?
I'm guessing it's a simple command line parameters you're passing on to midtown2.exe, but I haven't found any further information on such a thing.

It has to do with how we launch the .exe
