Celts are best in 1v1 because of faster reinforce at start with inf, franks have the best pals in late game. In a big game persians are probably the best because you might get enough time to make alot of elite eles to help with blocking

Im in shock at you saying this and to date your the only one who doesnt like the fix. The whole point of Bens fix was to make the map more fair and because it is more fair then it takes far more skill than the guess work of a black screen. Im actually amazed it took someone so long to come up with the idea. This fix puts everyone on an even playing field, i hope your not trying to say the whole point of 1v1 smosh is for someone to have an unfair advantage. In fact i hope your just being sarcastic
byz is only civ that have arbs and paladins.
when u get the knight u improve to arbs at the same time... if you go celts you will stay with xbows, but going byz u will have arbs + kinghts and can make a litle diference helping you to get an advantage...

Some people have the black screen up until 20 units are created, The whole point of it is to encourage the less experienced players into the map, and keep the playing field fair. I don't even get a black screen, and I think it's ridiculous that I could use that as an advantage in a map.
