i was able to play a couple years ago but now when i try it says

"Installation path reported by registry is 'REDACTED'
Verifying 'REDACTED' exists...
Success!
Voobly path is 'REDACTED'
Game version is '?'
Failure! Expected 1.03

You are not at the correct patch for your game. You can download and install the patches here"

with "here" being a link to http://www.voobly.com/pages/view/patch which says

Page Not Found

Unfortunately we were unable to find the page you requested, either the page has moved or does not exist.

thanks, i also got an error for not having MSXML and links i found online were suspicious but its archived from the official microsoft website for anyone in the future on the same path:
