Desertification 2x is the team game version of Desertification. The first team to have 40000 food in the bank, wins the game. Desertification 2x is suitable for a 2v2 format, with an observer feature accessible through player 5. You can download the scenario here.
Desertification 2x holds all the same features as the regular version of Desertification, but the map has been slightly altered in order to enhance the experience for team games.

New features
*The scenario now combines the resources of both team members in a calculation, so there will no longer be a need to tribute food to team members in order to win the game.
*Also the status obelisks now count the resources of both team members combined.
*The free Ambassadors upgrade has been removed, since it is no longer necessary.
