Denial of Service attacks against Voobly

We have recently deployed new technical measures to fight spam bots collecting personal information and/or posting SPAM on Voobly. Their last wave of bots hitting our infrastructure rather felt like a distributed Denial of Service attack, but it was in fact another spam wave hitting our servers with thousands of posts created on Voobly.

This appears to be fixed now with our recently taken countermeasures. If you are experiencing any problems with our website, please report them at the General Support Forums.

Another massive DDoS attack has hit our infrastructure, apologies for any inconvence. Unfortunately we are forced to bring back our IP restrictions which affects war zones (Ukraine, Syria) and many IP-ranges in Russia, Africa and Asia.
