I have installed the compatibility patch and copy and pasted everything in the Age2HD folder. I am getting a "Failure! Expected 1.0C" error.

Upon installing the patch a folder called age2_x1 will be created in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Age2HD.

This folder contain the converted version of the game ( age2_x1.exe) along with other important files.

When you copy and paste single files over it's likely some are missing. My suggestion is to follow this Step-by-step guide: [You must login to view link]
