Unable to watch Recorded Games

I am running the latest 1.5RC patch, and played a game today.

I went to load the records via the Voobly game launcher's setting page, but it just goes to load..then fails & dumps me back into the game room.

I am yet to find a work around to this?

Can anyone advise please?

- Thank you

Hi.

From all your games played today, you used 1.5 Beta R7, not 1.5 RC. Please pick the 1.5 Beta R7 patch in the settings in order to play correctly your recorded games.

Hi Hassan,

Thanks for your post. I have tried that, but it still fails to load the game.

I dont get any error message, it just cancels the loading & puts me back into the game room.

I have check to make sure I am selecting v1.5 Beta R7 and I am trying to load either of the two games I played last. (ie: rec20190210-143040.mgz)

Many thanks,

Hi mate.

I think I can see the problem of yours there.

Try the following instructions :

Go to your lobby -> Create a room.

Then go to the room Settings -> Spectator Settings

Look for "Always start spectator server (not recommended)" if it's active, untick it to disable it.

Click ok and test if you can load any recorded game.

Thanks very much Hassan.

Whilst I didn't have that box ticked, I ticked it & tried it....got an error message etc. Then unticked it, and tried and it worked fine! Obviously something just needed resetting behind the scenes somewhere!

Thanks again for all your help :)
