Ok guys as you know there is quite a high probability of a number of cb games coming up in the decider. The rules in the current state means going into a random decider that if you pick first for your pick your not the host for the random decider (more just a reminder on that point). Also of course civs are mirrored with teams picking p1, p3 v p2, p4.
Ok to avoid any unfair spots with civs like say for example p1 is maya, p3 is celt and p2 is celt and p4 is maya the game needs to reset to mirror the spots of the host. That is unless both teams agree to copy the civ spots of p2, p4, if there is no agreement then they must be reset to copy the civ spots of p1, p3.
Also and to ensure we have as a high a quality of games as possible players will be allowed to swap to their prefered civ for the match but i think that should only be on the basis that the game needed reset to fix civ spots.
Swapping for the prefered civ should be allowed in the decider round. If you pick a map the other team also gets to pick the prefered civ according to player. This will help CB noobs like myself to compete vs established CB players.

No lol
I dont agree at all, all Mirror Hero tourney i played till today noone had this absurd rule, otherwise thats too easy, just give the better guy the main civ and other guy do nothing that makes no sense.

To avoid problems and absurd discussions, I'm sure it's better not fix the spots / civis.
In the 2 CBA Hero mirror tournaments, the civis werent fixed(just once), since the advantage is minimal.
You could make the analogy in chess of playing with white pieces or with black pieces.-
No lol

In a team of Alex / Zanchy, it would be very boring to watch Alex with the best civilization vs Su / Blodi / Javi / whoever
I dont know how attractive and competitive it looks
Everyone with their thoughts.-
There should be an option to gb and make the spots fair no matter anything else.
I hope people will refuse to play if spots aren't at least fair lol, i.e. p1p3 same civ, p2p4 same civ in cba/hero.
Also, just putting this out there, RCB is played with RCB fair mod; this won't be enabled during the random decider round. What are we going to do? GB and put it on if it comes up? just play it out? and either way, does that mean we should or shouldn't use it during picks?

Thats the point, in a team like Zanchy and Alex vs Me and Su it will be huge disadvantage for us, as we both good in CB and one of them not.
This just giving advantage to Bloods players when Cb's players getting no advantage in bloods.

Remember that there is a greater presence of maps of CB's.
But it's okay, I get your point.
Ok I think its pretty clear from here as well as ones ive asked that players can't swap civs. Naturally of course players still pick player 1, player 3 v player 2, player 4 and mirror civs.
Do you think if the spots arent fair then a reset should happen to fix the spots to mirror hosts spots?
Regarding RCB if it comes up in the decider players will need to go back and put on RCB fair mod

Just by curiosity, is there any chance of let other staff check the mod out before this start? Like Gallas for i.e, neutral person. It's just that I don't feel like I'm safe in barry's word, maybe he did nothing but who the fks know.

Yes i agree with this but they should keep their civs, just fix the spots.
Maybe, your point is that if a team has 2 good CB players vs 1, it's unfair to be able to switch main civ. I agree tbh.
Also RCB mod? will we gb to put it on?

Edit / / I'm talking about the VCOM Map pack
