"No CD" message when I play offline? AoE & RoR

I have the CD (collector's edition). It works normally when I install it but when I play a game on Voobly and go back to the offline game it says there is no CD. I heard it could have something to do with the patches but what can I do to fix it? Playing AoE & RoR
