Ok guys i have now revised my plan which should hopefully please most.
There will now be 2 archer blood tournaments in what what will be a series known as archer blood masters.
The first tournament will be a bo3 1v1 tournament on the 2nd of April.
The second tournament will be a bo3 2v2 tournament on the 9th of April.
I dont see a point yet on doing a 4v4 or 3v3 ab tourney as i dont think we can get enough teams but if the above is successful im open to doing it come a stage.
Both will have prizes based on how we distribute prizes per normal but also and as mentioned already im working on something additional which is looking promising but details will follow when confirmed.
I want to see more activity on the ladder because as already mentioned i may well use the ladder to help gauge seeds.
Im now kind of thinking moving forward regarding the tourneys i will host not counting tiw of course for single night 1 map events i may well do a 1v1 and a tg tourney. Once again depending on the success of this.
Ok ladies and gents as im sure most of you have noticed there is a bit of a delay on TIW. This is due to a number of reasons including me not really having the time at present but I will assure you that I do plan on revisiting it later in the year.
For now though I would like to go back to some more straight forward one night events. To start things off ive decided to go with archer blood 1v1. This is mostly down to the fact that as a blood map i believe it is one of the most competitive maps but also because it is such a simple map to pick up and play for anyone at any level.
In order to promote this tourney we are going to run an archer blood league, its a map thats never actually had a league and it really is long over due especially given its one of the most played bloods over the last number of years.
For now I look forward to seeing how the league will progress and i may well do some seeding based on league placing come the date of the tourney.
I will get the tournament typed up and advertised later in the week for now all you need to know:
1. The tourney will be on the 2nd of April at 6pm gmt
2. It will be on a bo3 basis with each player playing as each colour and the deciding round if needed being decided by whoever wins their game fastest.
3. Prizes will be dependent on how many play that coincide with how we distribute prizes though i am in negotiations about additional prizes which will be announced in due course if they can be arranged.
