Hey, I have used Voobly for aoe2 for quite some time and wanted to try AoT aswell here. However, when I start the game through a voobly room, the game fails to initialize. This doesnt happen when I start the game normally.



I noticed Voobly creates "aomxnocd.exe" everytime I try to start the game. At first I tried deleting that file because I thought it might be the cause of the issue, but that was obviously not the case. However I tried starting the game without voobly both with the normal aomx.exe and the nocd exe and it works fine. The problem only occurs when I use Voobly.

I found this line in the log file "vooblylaunch2":

11:53:42 Func 'kbUnitQueryCreate' not found

Searching for this online didnt yield any results though.


Does anyone know what I could do to fix this?

You shouldn't delete anything Voobly installs on your games, that's what Voobly needs for working - I would suggest reinstalling AoM and letting Voobly do the things it does and it should work fine then.
