Ok Lets start with it.
its just a Draft to be discuss whether we can do a Nations cup n CS or not (Barry's Idea few years Back.)
Dont get on anything as its just a discussion thread.
Can We get the names of main 16 teams of CS community who have atleast 4-5 pro players alive. We can do it as 1v1 , 2v2 ,3v3 , 4v4 and I want it to be big with the help of you guys with big prizes
The whole point of a Nations Cup is that you probably do not get ally up with your clan members, as they are usually part of another country. And I do not think there will be enough interest, because you will have to find scenarios everyone like, but there is no such scenario.

@ Interest : I am a good Noob to generate interests among people.
@Allying Team :Country tournament and 1 player can be invited if his country is not in the 16 listed
I am not saying it should be one map tournament, but I am saying it is already hard to find a single scenario that fits a big number of people, not to mention a pool of maps.
Instead of Nations, you can go with bigger regions, as in teams of Europe in one group, teams of Asia in another group, same with North America, South America, Africa, Australia&Oceania.
From each group, 1 team advances, so you would have total of 6 teams advancing the finals. This format would not break up groups too small, for instance maybe I would like to play, but there is not a single other competitive CS player from Estonia, so I would instantly rejected by the Nations Cup.
Edit: Timezone issues would be minimal before the finals, so that is a major advantage aswell.

regions works way better than nations for sure... cant really do nations in CS unfortunately.
best of luck with getting this to happen.. its been discussed many times within the community and we've never really been able to get enough to follow through with it.

@ Maps : Not a One map show
Then it is not a Nations Cup.
