Hello guys, I've read that Voobly AoC players are generally better than Steam ones. Thing is, I've always played on Steam so far but sometimes there are not enough servers and games arranged, so I was wondering if a beginner like me (my ELO on Steam is 1560, I'm winning most of games recently but I can only play properly witn 1-2 civs) would be ok to start playing here in some noob servers, or if it's still too early.

If that's your level I think you can jump over NPL and go into MS lobby inter.

start in NPL or u will become 1.3xx in MS Lobby like many others trust me.

i have been playing this game for almost 15 years and i still play random map in new player lobby

now an argument can be made that im ****ed, but still..

There is no recommended minimum, get on here and play with players who are better and work on improving (if improving is what you want that is).

i satrted with zero aoe2 experience from NPL so no minimum experience. I got down to 989 before I became 14xx in MS RM 1v1 now Took like 3 years.
