Taoe is a smart clan they knows EOT does not have any decent CBA and HERO players so they choose it obviously

Means that CBA Hero cannot be played in the 2v2 section. That is all what a veto means. The team is allowed to pick any map instead of the map that was vetoed.

This CS Event is turning into an absolute disaster , at least when we played ViCiouS who are undeniably better than TAOE we had a good time and some vggs I may add . Despite rolling TAOE tonight I really don't care because the maps they picked and especially the civs (brit/maya cba war ? ) are beyond boring.

Rick told me we lost a veto despite them switching maps around which once again is not fair at all , they picked cba for 1v1 and cba hero for 2v2 which means they cant pick CBA a 2nd time for 2v2 , allowing them to switch to 1v1 cba hero and 2v2 cba is an absolute joke.

TAOE should be glad we are wasting our time on this pathetic bunch of clowns who are all in multiple clans and instead try to gain some experience for the future , instead they pick the nut worst maps/civ combos which absolutely have nothing to do with proving who's better at what maps which is what a cs event should be all about ????

I can understand your frustrations with how they're using a loop hole to get their maps played and waste your vetos. It's the fault of the system, not their fault for getting their maps played. We should collaboratively as clans involved in the tournament make a topic and see if we find some common ground to get stuff changed for the semi-final and grand-final series, as well as the 3rd and 5th play-off matches instead of just sparking hate fueled poo fights better saved for the game lobbies.

So since it appears it takes 4 vetos to keep cba/hero out of the 1v1/2v2 round and our veto had a net effect of 0, can we please withdraw it?

If we wouldve waited till the 1v1 round was over to use the same veto.. then they wouldn't be able to use cba hero in 2v2 because they wouldve already used it and would not be able to go back and change it.. so dumb lol.

Guys cba and cba hero where both voted in for every round separately and will remain that way. I know there is a few loop holes in the rules and they will be addressed for the semis. Everyone to date as just got on with it, no point in drama here.

We have good cba players, we just don't really play cba anymore so naturally people who are active in it are playing better in general. Doesn't mean we can't win, the issue is with the rules and the blatant abuse/pushing of 'loopholes' that frankie refuses to fix, which resulted in us losing a veto for absolutely nothing, and he will not let us withdraw despite there being nothing in the rules about not being able to withdraw vetos, yet he will let them change map picks anytime.

The idea of the 3 vetoes came in because of 7th's gripes. The mistake was letting them have what they wanted, instead of just following the tourney rules. Now you need to stick with them.

Just play and stop complaining always and always.. Picking some maps and civs over others is a way to cause difficulties to the enemy side. Is it so wrong to play CBA in a CS tournament?
