SS and Dome should be playable too. It was used in alot of clan wars among oldschoolers. mVz, xl. Soldierstore 2v2 was used by LC. So why did we stop using 2v2 maps. Especially Dome, which takes so much skill to play.
And where is Spider in that list ?
as of now the idea is for bo5 matchups each week between XceL/ViCiouS/Eot & a 4th team made by the remaining skilled blood players in the community who are interested to play some games.
Competitive streamed matches.. and hopefully some kind of prize pot as well.
As for format.. Each team plays one team per week.. so week 1 Eot vs ViCiouS.. week 2 Eot vs Voobly team and week 3 Eot vs XceL.. while the other 2 remaining are playing each other the same week.
Games are played in bo5 format... before map selections each side vetos one map from the other team which they are not allowed to pick after. Then both pick their 1st map and 2nd map.
The decider or the way to pick the decider is unknown for now..atleast a fair way to select it.
The forum here is for any questions or suggestions on things being done in a better way that people may come up with.. but thats the general idea of what we have so far... goal at the end is hopefully some really great games between all of vooblys top blood players.
We have SS and dome players, since when didnt we like them? Even so, what relevance would us liking them have to do with barrys decision to not include them in the list?
Eot refused to play them in a war a few years ago and since then people think 2v2 shouldn't be allowed in wars.

most wars in the history of aoc havent had 2v2.. only a select few and thats because they excelled in the map... 'clan war' should always be a 4v4.. 2v2 isnt really a fair representation of your CLAN its just 2 guys vsing another 2 guys... and you "7th" only wanted dome because you thought it was a for sure win... if Eot had cena for example at the time you wouldnt have went so hard to have a 2v2 map in the war.
Either way You andreas efkan are the "old" 7th.. who talked about being so dominant in everything so create this 4th team and lets have some games.
he was in it and im fairly sure you were in at the same time.. atleast for a short while but still he was in 7th.. so were you.. so was andreas.. so create a '7th' team and invite vicer (who I also believe was in 7th for a short time) and some other good people outside of these 3 clans.
What about not so known blooders that aren't experts yet, but still play well. Would it be possible to make the tournament in multiple sets, like the War is Coming Championship for RM. They have 4-5 stages, if I am not mistaken. The finals pretty much would be those 3 blood clans anyway, but the 4th team consist of anyone or maybe a surprise team could possibly make their way to the finals by beating one of the expert blood clans in the previous round.

We didnt refuse, we said we would rather not play 2v2's and negotiated..
Even so, this isn't a war, this is for fun and blood activity, I don't think any of us would really care much if there are 2v2's or not, everybody is entitled to their own opinion. If an overwhelming number of people wanted 2v2s, then put them in, start a vote or something, talk to barry but don't blame it on eot lol, if there's not enough interest, don't. it's pretty simple, this is community ran, not ran by Eot, so i don't really know where you get your opinion from but perhaps you should remove your head from your ass.

they also have much more teams and incentive to go on.. I mean hopefully this idea can work out and people show some interest... and if all goes well im sure another event/tourney similar to this with more teams could be done.

I don't see why parallel to this event, there couldn't be also other teams signing up. They could have their own version of this and the winner of that version could be invited to play in this event
I actually meant that if there should be enough teams, let's say 8. Then First Stage is a Qualification Stage, where 4 teams advance the the Semi-Finals and then 2 from there to Finals. Of course, this can be done differently.
