(2014) - Hardcore Blood

After 2 and half years (on and off) I am finally releasing my epic blood map Hardcore Blood in time for the Custom Scenario contest.

This Blood is different from blood maps before, there is no central tower that you need to protect/destroy but rather a Hero with increasing stats which adds a extra thing to manage and can help you stregically or cost you the game if not managed well.

The units spawned are all infantry. However you can create Bonus units on a timed basis.
This can help you turn the tide, if you choose your bonus units well. Aswell as instant Hero Healing and a Panic button.
Flags appear behind these units indicating they are available, aswell as Send Chats for the long timed units/powers.
The king will not be removed when a unit is created, so you can just sit the king on a unit and when it is available it will be created automatically.

The center has a power up as you see with alot of blood maps but there is 3 separate power ups, this is because; 1. The layout of the map. 2. It prevents camping in your base. 3. I prevents camping on 1 single power up.
There is also a Relic power up, when a Relic appears in the center of a power up the first player to collect it will receive an instant Hardcore attack bonus.
Players will always spawn a Monk for healing and retreiving Relics.
Note: These power ups will not affect your Hero all players Heros will have the same stats at the same time.

Looks like a typical Blood map, the way it is positioned I think it would be more fun to play 4v4 or 2v2v2v2. Rminds me of MiniCB but without Castles and Towers..

3 Powerups actually make the game unfair. You would see it if you play it FFA +4 players.

There needs to be 3 powerups so the outside players do not have to travel further to reach the middle.
The power ups are more subtle when use on melee units than ranged units such a smosh where the first person to the center usually wins the game. But still enough of an incentive to prevent camping. The use of the bonus units and/or hero unit can also overcome the advantage of the power up. Of all the times I have tested mostly of which has been 4 player ffa and 2v2's with teams on the same side and teams on opposite sides the powerups have not had a major impact on the game result. Good mirco and good unit choices are what wins this game.

Update: few more bugs fixed. Ive change the king to an eagle warrior that way you can patrol him out the back there :)

Update:
Added center bomb works like panic but in the middle power ups.
All monk upgrades come from conversions now.
Added a +25 kill razing bonus.
Other nifty things and fixes.
