Just logged in. Voobly definitely seems to be dead. I can't believe it has evolved into 99% CBA type maps. Used to be such a fun place, well MSN Gaming Zone was at least.
ill take the high road and not troll you guys, because we know why you want bo7... made a post about it in Eot private board... will get back to you with a response asap.
This is about compromise, not picking a term you want and saying this is the only way it can be done.
Could you at least share why you only want 3 maps each? Surely more maps would be a better indicator of which clan is better? At least, this is how we (Eot) see it.
I'm sure there's a good reason for this and I am interested to hear it.
I think it should go without saying rosters should be locked from the date this topic starts so as to avoid recruiting just for the war?
No offense intended, but clans pick maps the other clan doesn't even know. It proves who knows more miscellaneous maps opposed to who is better on the same playing field. I'd imagine for clan wars to have a chance of success for the future (if there is one still left), it's wise to invest time into a set map roster for wars so teams would know what to practice before issuing challenges.

This would suit us, and i'm sure xcel fine. However right now there is no such unbiased list so we will have to work with what we have. Yes clans will try to pick maps the other clan doesn't know, but this is magnified much more with fewer picks (as the more maps there are in a war, the less obscure maps can **** up the whole thing), which is why, under our logic, we want as many maps as possible to be played in the war and why we have proposed a bo9 instead of a bo7. (we'd like more to be honest but we understand people have other commitments and there are time constraints)

I have never liked AOC wars due to the pick the map we are most likely to win @ mentality.
But ya we are for bo9+ bloods. There are only 15 blood maps to pick from and id say at least 10 of those 15 maps would force competitive games consistently. Can play all 9 maps like last time if Xcel wants to try and prove they are better @ CBA.
But I can understand not wanting to play if the expectation is a loss.
with that in mind. As opalo left after the 2nd war to do with efkan... and he still continues to play 99% of his games with XceL.. hes still a member of XceL in my mind... he can rejoin and play with/for XceL in the war.. your team would at the very least be Vezir Fran Cena Kuvvy Masta Opalo Maxa. If justin stops pulling a justin you would have him as well.. making most maps we play competitive... no excuses.. just ggs.

bo7 war is kinda short I think.. especially considering some of the maps used could be 1-10 mins in length.
