i was hoping bloodlines would be removed for balance but this is not the case

It's so people can run TTM/UP or any other "Game Play or Data Mod" alongside Advanced Statistics.

But it's "not a useless thing". Now I can play CBA with tripPple tech mod, Advanced Statistics and Pink Pony. I can upgrade my super duper pink ponies 2x more in Feudal Age AND tell how many units I have killed with them. Why should people wait for the next bug update to use Advanced Statistics with TTM for eg.? He's just causing trouble.
