Feature descriptions

• On Voobly, we limit the number of friends you can store in your friends list.
• With a premium membership, you may increase the size of your friends list allowing you to communicate with your friends better!

This is the amount of people you can have on your ignore list. The higher your premium membership, the more people you will be able to ignore. If you choose to 'ignore' somebody, you will not see any chat from this selected player in the main lobby chat, or in the game room. Also, they will not be able to send you a private message. To put a player on ignore, simply right click over their name in the lobby or game room and select 'Ignore'. You can view your Ignore list by going to 'Options' > 'Settings' at the top left of the game lobby.

This is the amount of people you can have on your watch list. The higher your premium membership, the more people you will be able to have on your watch list. A watch list could be used as a 'Black list'. To put a player on your watch list, simply right click over their name in the lobby or game room and select 'Watch list'. You can view your Watch list by going to 'Options' > 'Settings' at the top left of the game lobby.

On a Normal membership you are only allowed to change one account name to a maximum of two names for that account. For a Silver membership account, you are offered a maximum of ten names. For Gold members, you can have a maximum of 20 names.

• On Voobly, for server overload reasons, we only allow a certain number of players to be in any given lobby at any given time.
• With a premium membership, you may be granted the exclusive privilege to enter a lobby that is "full".

• Macros are pre-written texts for use on the client.
• To use macros, right click a name in the lobby and select your macros.
• Create your own custom macros by entering a .txt file in [location].

• This is a special premium membership right which will bold your text in the chat lobby.
• To type bold text, simply type an exclamation point (!) before your text.

• Standard members do not have the ability to host game rooms 1 through 10 in any lobby. With Premium memberships, you are able to host the game rooms that are in high demand.

• This feature will stop messages from being sent regarding your friends' capacity limit. "You or your friend have reached the maximum allowable limit".

• With a premium membership, you are able to disable advertisements from being shown.
• To disable the advertisements on your premium member account, just click on 'Settings' on your profile page and select 'Disable' where it says 'Advertisements'.

• This will allow you to bypass the final page on the website that asks you to click your desired lobby to enter.
• To turn this on or off, first click settings, then on the profile information tab, use the drop down menu to enable or disable one click lobby.

• Thumbnail uploading allows you to add your own picture or image. When you message a player or you post on the forums, it will show next to your name.
• Upload size must be 50 by 50 pixels.

• Spam control limits the amount of time users can post on the forums in a certain period of time.
• For normal members, the time is longer and therefore, users cannot post more than once for a certain number of seconds.
• Premium accounts have a reduced spam control time meaning they may post more than once in a shorter time span. For example, once every 7 seconds instead of 22.

• With a Platinum membership you can now set your game room to have more than 8 players. You can have a maximum of 99 players set for your game room.
  
  
  

• You now have the option to customize your own advertisement inside your game. It's really easy to do. Just click 'Settings' > 'Custom Advertisement' inside your game room to get started. Examples are shown below. [ advertisement must be exactly 468px x 60px ]
  
  
  

  

• You can have the option to turn your premium visibility on or off. Look like a normal user and still have your premium account.
  
  
  

• You can now add custom emoticons to the messenger and server.
  
  

This feature allows platinum members to join rooms that are at their capacity. If this feature is abused it might be removed.

To join a full game room you can use the "Go To Game" option on the tool bar. The join bottom in the game list will be greyed out.

Typing /history will show you the last 100 chat messages in the lobby before you joined.

Purchasing information

1. To purchase a premium membership, first click Settings.
2. Next, click Premium Membership under the settings menu.
3. Scroll down and choose which membership you want to purchase, click submit and proceed with your PayPal billing information.
