Void Islands Blind Pick

<<<TO PLAY YOU MUST HAVE AN AI PLAYER IN THE LAST SLOT>>>

NOTE:
THIS MOD CONTAINS VOOBLY BALANCE PATCH 5.0.
I AM NOT THE AUTHOR OF THE BALANCE PATCH.
THIS IS TO HAVE VOID ISLANDS BE PLAYABLE ON THE CURRENT BALANCE PATCH.

CONTAINS:
Void Islands: The vanilla experience.
Abyssal Isles: The islands are smaller, and are surrounded by a deep, fishless sea.
Oblivion Forest: The islands are now clearings in a giant, swampy forest.
Odin's Altar: The center island's only portals lead to each player. It has one plenty vault per player which can be captured.
Plains of Abaddon: The islands now float on a lava sea, and the center island contains town centers guarded by shades.
Valley of Shadows: The islands are now valleys, separated by desert cliffs. The center contains all the gold, and the others contain all the wood and hunt.

Settlers Random: Random settlers, with nomad villagers.
Settlers Random Void: The above, but with one set of portals per player.
Settlers Random KotH: The above, but with the king of the hill victory condition.
Nomad 2: Nomad with balanced villagers and fixed recorded games.

Each player starts with two hunt patches, some pigs, two gold mines, some nearby forests, and three portals. One portal is guarantied to connect to the center island, which connects to most of the islands on the map, including every other player. (Picture below of EE version, which would not be compatible with the voobly balance patches as it adds new units to the game.)

Strategic tips:

This map is much larger than normal, but each island is its own battleground. The central island in particular is always quite big, meaning it can be difficult to entirely secure.
You can cue portal hopping by shift-clicking where you want to go after clicking on the portal, but unlike your own wells of urd, you cannot set a gather point.
The number of islands and passages scales with the number of players. If you do a 3v3 on this map, for example, it is highly recommended that you as a team communicate about which passages go where.
The other islands each have a significant chance of having one or more large gold mines, large patches of hunt, and numerous forests. It is recommended that you move out to claim these resources before you exhaust the resources on your home island.
As siege can range across most of an island, if your opponent captures an island near one of yours, it may be difficult to hold fortifications. Your home town center will be out of range of other islands, but every other available settlement will not be.
If you click on a portal in your line of sight, you'll see a flashing lightning bolt on the minimap to mark where it goes.
It can be handy, particularly for Norse, Egyptian, and Kronos, to build buildings to mark interesting passages. Alternatively, keep notes.
If you sneak a villager into your opponent's island and through another one of their portals, you can make a side build on that island to launch a surprise attack on your opponent's base from behind. In addition, you're likely to find that enemy's villagers there.
In a 1v1, every island is practically guarantied to be no more than three islands away from your home island. However, that path may lead through the center island which is likely to remain a battleground, making it suboptimal for stealth attacks.
Individual islands can be easily walled, especially narrow ones or islands (often the center) which spawn a unit-wide path.
Any unit, including flying units and titans, can go through the portals.
