Thank you thank you thank you GeeStation. I've just completed AoM and Titans at Titan difficulty and have just reverted back to AoE 1 to start again. (I'm 78, I like the familiar stuff) But I could not find my AoE 1 saved files, not anywhere, no amount of searching would locate them. I'm using Windows 10 Pro. Now with your hints on the location I can copy my 100 or saved games into a new folder and start again with files labelled 1,2,3 etc. For anyone else interested my saved games are now in C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires\savegame
