How long should it take to hear back about a mod approval?

I submitted a mod for approval on December the 8th of 2016. It's been nearly a month and I have yet to hear back from the Voobly staff. When should I expect this?

If my mod has not been accepted, how would I be able to find out why if I'm never messaged back? How could I create better mods in the future if I don't know where I went wrong?
