I think we can all agree both are amongst the very best 1v1 cs players with both playing just about every map at a high level. I understand there has been a bit of bad blood of late however i think its best to let the gaming do the talking instead of the usual back and forward forum nonsense. As alot of you know my next tourney will be a master of custom 1v1 tourney and i think this might well be a good way to lead into a potential masters tourney. I know ive spoke about adding numerous maps in fact i did speak about 20 though that isnt set in stone. So what im proposing is this the both of you pick 10 maps each and whatever map is left becomes the decider. I know whoever gets to 11 first wins the overall set but it would be really good if u can both agree to play all the maps even after we know who won.
The maps:
RCB
CBA Hero
Graves
Dome
Lustful
Archer Blood
Radical
Khans
Gwarz
Veteran
Spider
CBX
CBA
Nova
Hero Fest
Desert
Smosh
Soldier Store
Path
Dodgeball
Woa
Quite simple how it will work you both pick 10 maps each, for the map you pick you get to select your colour along with civs and both take turns on playing the others pick. Naturally this all wont be completed in one sitting so i propose maybe doing it over 3 days? So really its just a case of saying when suits perhaps over a weekend. If we have dates in place we can try and arrange some kind of streaming and casting. Im more than happy to act as a neutral referee for this match up and also help with the map selections for both.
Feel free to let me know if this is suitable for both but i do ask all to refrain from turning this into a flame fest and instead we can perhaps try to promote competitive 1v1 cs.
Cool, 10 maps is kind've a lot to pick each though xD how about we just play all those maps on the list?
Yes mate thats the idea to play all the maps but to avoid any arguements on who is host and civs I think it would be a good idea for you each to pick 10 each and take turns picking a map until you both have 10 different maps each from the 20 maps above. If you pick a map you get to pick civ and colour and once a map is picked the other person cant pick it. Whoever picks a map first doesnt get to pick one of their maps first. What it will mean is before a game is played you both know all the maps, the colours you will be along with civs
Personally I'd rather do picks, or we run into discussions like rcb 1v1 only playing 1 civ (when huns, maya and aztec for example are all diff strats) and I think p1 better spot
same ish for cba/hero, so I think it's better to each pick 10 from that list unless you're willing to let me pick civ/spot in rcb and cba and u for hero/cbx so it's 2-2 fair

Oh so we just each pick 10 maps out of this list? Okay that's fine let's just do that then.
Ok lads im adding woa that way we have 21 maps. You both pick 10 each taking turns and whatever map is left will be the decider if it comes to a decider. Also just a thought would it be a good idea to make smosh bo3 for 1 point?

In reality a lot of maps would be better bo3 or more but if we go down that route we would end up playing too many games.

Edit: Which means I vote to not bother with bo3.
