Hi,

For almost ~ 2 months I have a problem when i'm trying to start voobly. After I press log in, I receive the message "Voobly has stopped working". I reinstalled Voobly, I tried to connect from browser, tried with "run as administrator"/"run in compatibility mode for 7,XP,8, etc. but the same. I also checked to see if legacy components its on (from control panel->programs and features->turn windows features on or off), and it was.

I have W10 Pro, 64 bit for ~ 6-7 months. W10 is up to date.

Age of Empires 2 HD works fine on steam and Age of Empires 2 works fine if i start age2_x1.exe.

Can someone have a solution ?

Hi Medellin,

Try Clean Installation of Voobly Client using steps given Here.

To understand this problem better you can E-Mail us Two files from your C:/Program Files(x86)/Voobly/ folder.

1- minidump.dmp
2- voobly.txt

If these files are more than just two, then send the most latest files(Date Modified). Attach these files and send to [email protected] with the Subject "Voobly Crash Report" along with your Voobly ID and some detail about the issue.

Thanks

I don't think i have this patch. I will try with him, but i think its a problem with W10-Voobly, not with the game.

I installed that patch but still doesn't work. I don't try to connect to Voobly through steam using AoEHD or something like this. There are different games, in different folders, it worked this way till few months ago.

Its not a problem with the game. Voobly crash instantly after I press "sign in" or I press "open the lobby" from browser. I think its a problem with compatibility between Voobly and Windows 10 or a program/settings/drivers from Windows10.

Hello Medellin,

Please try the following:

1- Clean boot

[You must login to view link]

& Also 2- Empty Multi folder:

Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II\SaveGame\Multi

OR

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age2HD\savegame\multi

Delete all *.mgs and *.msx in that directory except the Multi.txt.

You are done!
