Welcome to America

This mod aims to add Native American tribes to Age of Empires. The goal is to have new balanced civs based on famous Indian tribes. 4 new playable civs have been added: Cherokee, Navajo, Pueblo, and Iroquois.
Each of these civs share a generic unit that is similar to the eagle warrior, the tribal scout.

The Cherokee
The Cherokee are classified as an archer civ and have the following civ bonuses:

• Villagers use bows when attacking
• Foot military move 25% faster
• Archers fire 20% faster

Team Bonus
Food resources last 10% longer
Unique Units

• Slinger (Anti-infantry Archer)
• Canoe (cheap, fast ship)

Unique Tech
Galistadi (+3 attack archers)

The Navajo
The Navajo are classified as an infantry civ and have the following bonuses:

• Houses cost only 10 wood
• Sheep can be raised at mills
• Infantry have +2 attack vs. other infantry

Infantry +2 LOS
Unique Unit
War Leader (infantry)
Unique Tech
Raid Leaders (+1/+3 armor for tribal scouts and war leaders)

The Pueblo
The Pueblo are classified as a defensive civ and have the following bonuses:

• Buildings have +2 armor
• Walls and towers cost -10% stone
• Farms are more compact
• Military units cost -10% food

Team Bonus
Towers +2 attack
Unique Unit
Feathered Archer (tanky archer with low attack)
Unique Tech
Raid Defences (+5 attack towers, castle, town centers)

The Iroquois
The Iroquois are classified as a monk civ and have the following bonuses:

• Foragers and farmers work 15% faster
• Monks move 30% faster
• Monks are affected by armor upgrades

Team Bonus
Monastery works 15% faster
Unique Unit
Dart Blower (cheap, fast, weak archer)
Unique tech
Poison Darts (+3 attack dart blowers)


As of now this mod is in its infancy, but all 4 civs are currently playable, despite lacking polish.
There are many things that need work but for now they include:

• Balance
• Art
• Voices
