Hi all,

I hope everyone is having a great time in Age of Mythology and all the other Voobly games on this wonderful evening. Now, I had the idea to make a build orders topic to help each other out in the Age of Mythology community. The idea is to post build orders you want to share with the others as a reply in this topic.

This way new players and players trying to learn new gods will have a library of knowledge that will give them an easier time getting started. I will start with the first entry below. Thank you guys in advance for your replies and I hope this topic will be a great help for all those trying to learn the amazing game of Age of Mythology.

Note: when I say for example “2 Food”, it means that you should have a total of two citizens on food. I don't mean send the next two citizens to food. The build orders are most easily followed with the villager counter mod. The asterisks are what you should do during the advance (1 minute).

Also a Kronos Build Order for High Hunt or tgs:

The whole idea of this build is to get focus early without delaying our advance time. Focus allows you to scout better the map, and then with more scouting you can identify the area where you want to deal early pressure. So here is a 4:30 fast focus build:

First Citizen builds eco guild, chop 5 wood and then onto food. Research Hunting Dogs and Focus. It will be available at the 22s mark.
Second Citizen food
Third Wood
Fourth Gold. Build a manor when you reach 25 gold.
Fifth Food, Sixth Food, get a seventh citizen and then advance as soon as you hit 400 food.

Note:It is better to send your third food citizen to a second food location forward though not to far from your starting base. This will increase your odds of hitting a perfect 4:30 on maps where there is not enough food in base to advance.

move 2 vills from gold to food
pharoh empower goldmine
get one more priest and put him on to food
build second tc with ur 4 on to wood + priest
second tc vills go to gold

Start Building Farms with ur villagers (one by one) after that, move 5 - 7 from gold to farms then RAIN
When u Click the rain godpower rest of ur vills go to GOLD
AGE UP

Heoric Age

Next vills go to gold (both tcs) and buy some food to go mythic (because it's cheap early in the game)
when u start aging mythic move some vills from gold to food (either hunt if there is or farms)

Hi teKiLa_mx, I'm glad to hear you're appreciating the content. Thanks, it means a lot. A team game guide is a good idea, but a broad topic to cover. I will most definitely look into this and give some thought how I can best make a guide like this. You can expect a guide from within a week or two. :)

When I say “Food”, I mean hunt, herdables, chickens or berries. I categorize farms separately. The Hunting Dogs and Lowhunt build orders are the same after the advance to the Classical Age. That's why one of them looks like it's only halfway finished. Also note that my Set is about 1630RR, so I do not guarantee that these build orders are 100% optimal.

Set Build Orders
5:26/9:40 Hunting Dogs - 2 Town Centers Fast Heroic
Granary (2 Villagers) -> Hunting Dogs -> 2 Food
Pharaoh empowers Granary
Priest starts converting animals that you will hunt in your base

Then you can play on Voobly by installing our [You must login to view link]. Alternatively, you can buy an original Age of Mythology - Gold CD on a website like eBay and install the game that way.
