Voobly error Directplay..... help please

when i joining the loopy this error always appears....

i tried to do all what wrote in this forum , but it is still the same problem ??
the direct play it is already installed.

Failure!

DirectPlay failed to load properly. This is probably an OS installation bug. You might need to reinstall your operating system. Windows 8.1 and later users can install DirectPlay through Control Panel -> Programs -> Turns Windows features on or off -> Legacy Components -> DirectPlay.

which operating system are you using? does your game run ok off of voobly?
as you have been ok, what changed on the pc?

I use windows 8.1 ............
yes it is working 100% in offline.......

Nothing changed in the PC.............

have you just upgraded to w8.1? try reinstalling the direct play files from legacy

i have tried to do that ....... i reinstall directplay from legacy but it is not working.......... it is still the same problem.......!!!!

You can try removing DirectPlay (Control Panel -> Programs -> Turns Windows features on or off -> Legacy Components -> DirectPlay) and see.

Hello ........

I have found a solution......

the problem was with the registry.....

I added some registry manually for the DirectPlay, like in the picture in the attachement, and it is work...

I don't know why this registry wasn't found !!!!

Yep. Runs just fine. It was just fine until a few days ago.
Don't know if it can be related, but out of nostalgia I installed AoE and AoE:RoR trials, and being old games as they are, maybe they interfered with DirectPlay? It's the only thing I can think of that I did between the last time I entered a lobby with/without the error.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Voobly and AoK/AoC, without any change to the error.

Also, I have ran Game Diagnostics so many times to no effect. My OS is Win7 Ultimate 64-bit
